Joe G
83.3%, but I did hit the wrong button on one, so please give me a point higher. That was fun!
Dan Gould
80.6, but that still puts me in the same category as the illustrious Phil Kelly.
Harold_Z
86.1 %. I'll have to try this sober.
Joe G
94.4% on my second try. The ones where the pitch is not very clear, like the thumb piano sample, are some of the hardest.
Jazzmoose
86.1, but I'll be damned if I know what that means...
Uncle Skid
Also 86.1%. "Excellent musical abilities".
Jim Alfredson
88.9% The organ sound at the end was "rocking"!
Jim Alfredson
94.4% on my second try. The ones where the pitch is not very clear, like the thumb piano sample, are some of the hardest. I wish you could pause the damn thing before it went on to the next one.
Rooster_Ties
80.6, but that still puts me in the same category as the illustrious Phil Kelly. I got 80.6% too. Was hoping I'd do better. Thought I'd at least get 85% or so.
rachel
88.9%. I agree that the 'thumb piano' ones were tricky. The easiest ones for me were the guitar sounds and the horn sounds.

Joe G
What can I say? Rachel rocks!
mikelz777
88.9% For a non-musician, I'll take it! A lot of the differences were pretty subtle. Edited November 13, 2006 by mikelz777
rachel
What can I say? Rachel rocks! or.... one could say that I have good ears but am quite the underachiever when it comes to taking music to any level beyond high school band. But I'll take that "I rock" from you any day. (and Joe got 94 percent!) Edited November 13, 2006 by rachel
Jim Alfredson
Joe got 94% the second time. Cheater.
Spontooneous
83.3%. Yeah, those thumb-piano-sounding ones are tricky.
Spontooneous
So I tried clearing my head a little and doing the test again. Second time, 75%. java script:emoticon('', 'smid_28')
Sundog
91.7% That's a pretty interesting test. I think I missed one because a noisey diesel truck went by my window at a less than opportune moment. I'll certainly take it though. After the first couple trials I closed my eyes and it became a lot easier.
The Magnificent Goldberg
66.7% But I WAS listening to Boogaloo Joe Jones at the time (hem hem). MG

Joe G
Further proof that repetition of the test doesn't assure a higher score. My third try ended up at 88.9%. Edited November 14, 2006 by Joe G
