It's like bleeding to death from a 1000 paper cuts. I thought that at first but why shouldn't Ortiz and Manny not get the same treatment by fans that Bonds, Arod and the other names that leaked got. If you release the whole list they get lost in the shuffle. It's wrong both ways and I know the tests were supposed to be anonymous but if I was given an advance date for a specific drug test for work I would make sure leading up to it I was clean. It's hard to have any sympathy for him when he's gone from demanding absolute proof of Bonds using steroids, and now claiming that Pujols has to be using them as well, because after all, if his hero is guilty everyone must be. I thought he came off very well and the players union guy came off even better According to Weiner, there could be 96 players on the list, not 104 as has been reported. Furthermore, some of those are disputed. The number of confirmed positives is 83, and that includes some players who may have tested positive more than once. And in some cases, the positives could have been triggered by andro, an over-the-counter supplement taken by players. "David does not know if he tested positive," Weiner said, "or what he tested positive for. We did not tell him he tested positive. ... His reputation has been called into question. He does not know specifically why. And he can't get the information that would allow him to offer a full explanation."
