Well today I ran a half marathon (13.5 Miles), took me 2hrs, 5 min and I had my i-pod with me and I had the wondeful album by Markus Stockhausen "Joyosa".

Congrats on the half marathon. :tup

I 'run' but enjoy the natural sounds. It's strange, for a person who enjoys music so much, when I 'run' I don't want to hear anything. I listen to the sounds of my body, breathing, shoes hitting the ground, etcetera. Yeah, try running in Tucson during the summer. When I go out in the evening, between eight o'clock and nine o'clock, the temperature will still be hovering near 100°F. It makes you want to lose your enchiladas.

Thanks and I don't know how anyone can run in that heat. I once did the Prague half-marathon and that was pretty hot, but nothing like the temp's you have.

I like to run with some music, it has be fairly quite and in the background, but at times it needs to grab my attention.

Led Zeppelin- Presence.

Good Lord, that'll get ya out of bed! ;)

I like to throw on the Jimmy Giuffre Mosaic early in the morning. The trio sessions are nice-n-mellow.

There is no ritual, Sunday is just another day.

Today it's a Phillip Glass morning.

Saxophone :tup

The Orphee Suite for Piano (so-so)

Early Voice (a few more listens and I should be raving about this)

It's 11:47, afternoon should arrive in a few hours with Jazz. :rsmile:

I try to keep things on a relaxed tip on Sunday's...cause if I don't the "monday morning work demons" try to creep in and stress me out prior to starting the week.

This morning:

Johnny Griffin/Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis - Pisces (lovely ballad session)

Red Garland - Red Alone

Lou Donaldson - Lush Life

Hank Mobley - a ballad compilation I put together
