Д.Д.
Man, why do you keep insisting this is George Coleman on your photos? It's clearly not him. Here is a video of Coleman band in 1981:  Edited January 11, 2020 by Д.Д.

Nice joke from your side Yes, correct, George is gentlemen with the red tie in the video. This is what I was saying - here is a video of George Coleman in 1981. There are eight people in the octet, not all of them are George Coleman. The guy in your pictures is most definitely not George Coleman. I am not sure who that is - this would be a good trivia question. My guess it's Wilton 'Bogey' Gaynair:   Edited January 12, 2020 by Д.Д. sidewinder
My first reaction seeing that photo and where it was taken was ‘Bogey’ Gaynair too.
Д.Д.
Regarding George Coleman, this is an excellent album that I think was not mentioned: For jazzcorner, yes, this George Coleman hugging Idris Muhammad on the cover. Edited January 12, 2020 by Д.Д. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, the gig was cancelled. We're playing (with Joe Farnsworth) tonight at the Django and Saturday at the Side Door in CT. Hopefully Smoke will be rebooked.
