king ubu Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Got my Brel box early in the morning ... the mail man must have thought I was an insomniac - was working until 4 a.m. (for a paper I had to hand in at 9 a.m.) and he rang at 7:30 or so, I wasn't dressed yet and was of course not quite awake either ... but anyway, the box looks gorgeous indeed! Silly way to store the CDs (on top, in "slots" in the thick cardboard, similar to the Hip-O-Select 7-inch-boxes, but here, it's two discs per page), so the box is bloated, but flipping through the booklet it seems it's indeed a nice presentation! Lots of photos and all the relevant info at the back, no liner notes proper, rather a montage of many Brel quotes taken from a variety of interviews. And with the booklet, there's also an enveloppe with some replicas of memorabilia: Brel's pilot license etc. I have no. 09845 - how many would there be? 10 or 20 thousand? Quote
