No other information on this other than it is released in six days. Deep Discount is listing this set for $50.64. Where is the live track from Mexico with Bubeck? Will we ever see a proper reissue of these? Probably not. That's why I don't like these boxes. BTW, i didn't miss the bonus tracks, which were pretty blah, so never worried about it.One customer review / comment mentions that Sony seems to have fixed the problem with the (2) missing tracks on "Sings the Blues" included in "The Complete RCA Albums Collection". No way.Like you I suspect we won't see proper reissues of these, and wouldn't wether this box came out or not.I can understand your unwillingness to buy these but I like the consolidation that occurs with these boxes as well as the sonic improvements of portions of the material. The older masterings are used on those discs that were released in the 'nineties but they sound somewhat improved to my ears. Nice box sets. Quote
