Been on an Ellington listening binge, just hopping around all eras. Just finished reading A Portrait of Duke Ellington by Derek Jewell and am getting in to The Duke Ellington Reader which has been sitting on my shelf for a while waiting for the right time. So i'm kind of immersed at the moment, and just loving it.

It's good that they spelled Boyd "Reaburn"'s name correctly on the back cover, at least.  Lucky Thompson is listed as a member of the Raeburn band, but he is not specifically featured on any one number (I guess a little, perhaps, on the Ray Linn Jazz Octet number), so it's a little misleading to post his name so prominently on the front cover.
