Actually, a nice session. I've been trying to get this release for quite some time at an affordable price. Picked this up from Dusty Groove.

Totally agree. I had read some negative comments about this recording, so wasn't expecting much, but I was and still am impressed by how good it is.

James Carter & Cyrus Chestnut - Duets (Atlantic). Although promos were made and sent to radio stations, this session was apparently never released in the US. I see on discogs that a limited edition of 3,000 CDs was done for FNAC in France. I have the US radio promo. Nice date.
