I bought this shortly after being turned on to Miles Davis’ electric catalog, back in '73, before going off to the University of Chicago. Just a beautiful album. I did see that. I didn't know it was the first and I certainly did not know it was going to be $40 a do, but the announcement was indeed what led to me listening to this one.
