Dodged a big storm last night! Starting off this morning with a re-listen to the first disc in this new release.

Treasures indeed, and Anthony Davis delivers, perhaps unexpectedly in such a "traditional" (sic) setting.

I might "like" this one a bit better, everybody's younger, it's groups (damn good ones), plus it's live ( in every way), but those are ultimately irrelevant differences. People like Karen Borca come to play, period, always.
