duaneiac Posted July 7, 2018 Report Posted July 7, 2018 Earlier: This is a terrific "live" album with several toe-tapping originals by band members Rodgers Grant, Bobby Capers (and one tune by his wife, Valerie), Pat Patrick and by Mongo himself. It's odd that one of his more enduring songs, "Para Ti", was not included on the original LP and is presented on the CD as a bonus track. Currently: First listen. This CD arrived in the mail today, just one day after the 45th anniversary of its recording at the Montreux Jazz Festivall. Quote
