Long been curious about this record but have never been able to find a copy. Looks like it's finally getting a boutique reissue... that is, if the Kickstarter is a success.

Guess it's basically a 150-copy pre-order but for those interested in this kind of music, it's a no-brainer.

Ha -- a little different. The band consists of Hugh Steinmetz on trumpet, Franz Beckerlee on alto, Steffen Andersen on bass, and Bo Thrige Andersen on drums.

Have an original of that one but should probably pick up the reissue as I understand the sound to be much improved.

The Levin is very good. Clifford, I too have an original, slightly beat, and the sound is an improvement

Yeah the original pressing of the Levin is not that high quality -- mine looks unplayed but there is a lot of surface noise. But hey, it was Bill Dixon's copy and has a very nice inscription from Marc to Bill, so there is something personal about it.

This is a very fine album, obviously close in spirit (and sound) to the three Debut releases ("Action", "T.C.J.Q." and "Nu!").

Mid 1960's European avant-garde jazz: how can you possibly go wrong?

The samples sound good. I wonder why they're not expanding their sales to include digital formats. (Maybe because this makes piracy easier.) I would purchase either a CD or a download. The extra income might help fund further projects.
