jazzbo Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I can't be of any help, I haven't visited a shop in Roma since 1971. Quote

Kevin Bresnahan Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Never been to Rome but going for a day this fall. I doubt I'll be hitting any record stores on that city tour. Quote
Rabshakeh Posted April 24 Author Posted April 24 Rome is amazing to the extent that it is one city where I have never gone record shopping. Quote
Pim Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Well our program is pretty stacked with visits to: the Colloseum, Saint Peter’s Cathedral, The Sistine Chapel, the Pantheon, Castle Saint Angelo, Galleria Borghese and virtually every monument we stumble upon on or way between these world wonders. But come on guys, there is ALWAYS time to visit a record shop. That is at least what I am going to tell my wife Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted April 25 Posted April 25 We have one day in Rome during our October cruise and we've booked a 10 hour city tour, so I doubt I'd have any time for music shopping. Quote
Rabshakeh Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 The best bit of Rome is the way that if you don't want to go to the tourist spots, you can just turn any corner and the random church you find will be more impressive than any that you have ever seen anywhere, anyway. Also, even for Italy the food is really good, with easier restaurants than e.g. Tuscany and very child friendly. Quote
porcy62 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The shops I go for jazz used vinyl : millerecords, welcome to the jungle. The are also radiation records, three shops across the town, but not been there since long time. Don’t expect bargain. If you like digging for bargains you may try Porta Portese Market on Sunday mornings : the biggest flea market in town, but beware of pickpockets. Edited 1 hour ago by porcy62 Quote
