So…pretty much everything EXCEPT the 9 Songbook albums.

I’ve got the Canadian 5 CD box containing those, but it would’ve been really nice to see those get the Mosaic remastering treatment.

It was the previous OP Mosaic set that made me enjoy Peterson a bit more and since then I've paid more attention to his work. I don't have many of thes albums so I pre-ordered this set. I do enjoy the live material from this trio on the London House box set; looking rorward to this one.

(The past two decades I have pre=ordered ever set. . . Mosaic is a label I trust and support).

I will order this.  I enjoy OP.

Ditto. I'll likely do the same but have to discern what I already have first.

Completely agree... Do you have the box with Peterson and Lionel Hampton?? This one? I love it...

I would love to get those remastered. I have a box of those but from what I remember it wasn't memorable... (I might have to take them out for another spin though...)

Thigpen's drums and Brown's bass are really nice and clear on the samples.  Looking forward to this.

Curious that they are only putting out 2500 of these.  I guess they don't see much of a market?

So from a quick reading of the discography only 3 of these have been previously release as CDs? And is this David Weiss the trumpeter who's the producer?

I know some on the Board are not big fans of O.P., but I enjoy his playing and always liked this trio. Like Lon, I've ordered every Mosaic for a long time (even the Pharaoh Sanders, though that took some thinking), and I also don't have all these, so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm not sure how Mosaic is listing these, not no, more than three have appeared on cd.

And yes, Weiss is a co-producer.

That's why I'm confused. I'm extremely interested (and will need to dig through the discography more) but my instinct was that more of this has been out on CD... I mean his estate is the main body (his daughter) who's putting out unreleased stuff and all of that is live, previously unreleased material. I guess I find it hard to think that's there's a lot of studio stuff that hasn't been out before... (Is what I'm saying making sense?)

I am most intrigued by the expansion of "old stand by" sets with mostly guaranteed audiences to now include a Verve recording artist. (well, for most of these anyway).  Seems like the same effort to keep the lights on with a set with a strong likelihood of sales at this point in time. Not that i don't support Mosaic doing what is necessary to keep the lights on.
