  4. One of the reasons why Rocket 88 gets so much attention was an accident. One of the amplifiers blew out and created an unexpected distortion in the bass, which sounded like....Rock and Roll, or at least different than the song that they based it on: Jimmy Liggins' Cadillac Boogie.
