I'd certainly be in for a CD release of the '73 concert. I have the grey market Jazz Door CD's of the '69 concert, so will wait to see how much this release is an improvement, and what the price point is. But this is good news, no matter what.

Do you understand why it is that Jomboy seems to think the box on the broadcast is not the box that would be used for challenges? Is the official challenge going to be different from the result you see with the naked eye watching TV? It's very confusing to me and doesn't make much sense. (And it has to be said that any ump missing 25 calls - 2 challenges a game per team won't fix that.)

Hallelujah! It's a start, anyway... MLB approves robo-ump challenge for balls and strikes beginning in 2026 … good timing for this announcement, coming on the heels of an ump blowing 25 pitch calls in a single game.
