This is available on CD now. The sound is well done. The information on the CD is a bit sparse, but it sure sounds like these came from the original Boris Rose recorded source. -

Oh well... My daughter pulled that Camden LP out of a Detroit area thrift store and gave it to me for my birthday last year. Haven't played it yet. -

Anat Cohen Quartet tomorrow. -
It got colder overnight but so far no snow! I’m glad, my back may or may not get another day of rest and a respite from shoveling! Starting off the day with a soothing listen to Eliane Elias “Dreamer” Bluebird cd. Hard to believe this was recorded over 20 years ago. . . . Paulo Braga on drums really gives this one his special “feel.”

In the top-10 from my "desert-island discs" collection. Even if Tatum piano lines as accompanist are sometimes "too intrusive", I also have this boxed set in high regard. Norman Granz's mission of extensively documenting Tatum in the "Solo" and "Group Masterpieces" sets is much appreciated. And +1 for the Tatum-Webster disc as a favourite. Currently listening to

Your recommendation of the Savoy 2-LP set is seconded. (Must be "The Most Versatile Band in the Land" - Savoy SJL 2261 with tracks from the Hit and Majestic labels that were bought up by Savoy). 17 or the 24 tracks are arranged by Sauter. But to those triggered by the music examples in your post: the three Youtube tracks you have linked to are not on that set. All three originally were recorded for RCA and were on a 1955 RCA Camden LP, according to the discographies. "Cyclops" and "Idiot's Delight" also are on "Howdy Friends" (Limited Edition LP 102). -
Apparently it's going to be in that "new" venue, which is an old Greyhound Bus station near the Mill & Mine

This John Coltrane set was not available as a CD set. The CDs I bought were the Sarah Vaugan 1969 and 1975 titles.
