Really enjoying this one. Never heard of anyone involved so it's totally new although it's from '73. Album is Cirrus by Bertile Strandberg's Quintet. Great sound and grooves. This is a pic of the rear cover, chosen for the band photos.

Seeing this in the "what are you listening to now" thread, I took a chance on it and bought it. On its way

The next Bandcamp Friday is 2/6. There's several Tyler albums there. Which is recommended the highest?

I digitized the Joanne Grauer show awhile back and can send you the files. It is excellent and it didn't need pitch correction. Let me know your email and I can send the music, I have to go downstairs to find the CDR. -

Honestly Ken, I think it’s too much hassle for you and for them. My experience on the odd occasion when I’ve received a duplicate order is that the firm doesn’t really care whether they get it back or not. To them, it’s just one of the screw-up’s that happens once in a while. Cost of doing business. That seems to be the vibe you’re getting from them. But I wouldn’t sell the recordings, either. Gift them to a jazz- loving friend.

I bought them in the first half of the seventies, both Tetragon and Canyon Lady, listen to them on USB stick. Actually, the first Joe Henderson LP I had was Canyon Lady. All Milestones albums, all of them, each artist....they were great and a great part of the top acts on jazz festivals were "Milestone Stars".

Disc Three originally issued as... Stompin, my memory is pretty vague on this. My recollection is that EMI issued three or four similar box sets in the mid-'90s, each called "60 Great Jazz Classics.". Each box had four CDs, and sold for $19.99. A very low price in those days. I wish I had bought them all. I bought the one "For Lovers." I see these on Amazon.
