Now listening: My greatest idol, I love him. I dedicated a special composition to him, album will be out for sale in February 2026...... Pharoah Sanders FOREVER !!!!!!!!!😍

  8. Some of the wildest Christmas jazz there is!
  9. I don’t upgrade issue wise a lot but I’ve never liked the Japanese reissue I had of this album and it’s one of my favorite jazz albums of all time. My parents just gave me the Acoustic Sounds edition and it’s a stunning improvement. Now I enjoy it even more.
  10. Miles Davis “Porgy and Bess” Sony Blu-Spec CD2 300×297 8.19 KB My appreciation for this recording has grown over the decades. The Evans arrangements are really fascinating to me.
  11. This is a very nice album. This working band shines in the studio. Harrell’s uniqueness carries on through his HIgh Note recordings. . . a style that is cohesive and involving. Tom Harrell “The Time of the Son” High Note cd
  12. A nice quiet Christmas . . . survived. Wish I could cancel the weekly brunch with sister- and brother-in-law, just don’t feel like going out but will. Cold, but no precipitation. The stereo is warming up and sounding so so good. Enjoying this Getz recording with the amazing Alex Blake on bass. Stan Getz “The Fiinal Concert Recording” Eagle cd disc 2
