A bit warmer this morning. Slept in. . . a lot of fresh air with like minds yesterday had me worn out enough. Re-listening to this excellent album to start the day. I love the way it is recoded and the playing is very entertaining.

Well... There are 24 copies currently for sale on Discogs, starting at $87.84. The median price is $122.19, and the highest sold price was $162.16 in July of this year. I'd probably knock at least $200 off your selling price if you actually want to sell it. Just a suggestion! It's a great set. -
Halfway through Denis Johnson's Angels. Compelling but so very, very bleak. About a quarter of the way through Gabrielle Zevin's Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, which is about two college friends who team up and become master (computer) game developers. Very good so far.

Hello, I have the following *sealed* Blue Note Tone Poets for sale. I got these from the Blue Note website and just don't see myself ever really needing them. I'm going to offer them for well off what they cost at retail. So, each of these is $27, shipping included. And again, these are all sealed and have never been opened. PayPal only, PM if interested. If you would like them all, I'll do it for $215. Don Cherry -- Complete Communion Dexter Gordon -- Landslide Chico Hamilton -- Featuring Buddy Collette The Jazz Crusaders -- Freedom Sound Jackie McLean -- Jacknife Grachan Moncur III -- Some Other Stuff Leo Parker -- Rollin' with Leo Sam Rivers -- A New Conception Horace Silver -- Tokyo Blues

Not sure how to describe this other than it’s James’ music. Funky, rock, jazzy, hip. .. I like it. Jose James “New York 2020” disc 2

Les McCann “Never a Dull Moment– Live from Coast to Coast (1966-1967)” Resonance Records 3 cd set, disc 1 These sets of trio recordings are a very rewarding listen, for me. Nicely recorded and mastered–not pristine studio recordings, but nicely rendered live recordings.

Jimmy McGriff - Portrait (Blue Note, 2 LPs) Compilation of recordings from 1966-70. Issued in Germany. You know the old saying: "He who hesitates is lost!"
