  5. I bought that as a new release while in High School. Purchased at Younkers in downtown Des Moines Iowa. Same place I got Africa/Brass.

  7. Back in the day I had volume one.
  8. Brain Fart. I meant High Frequency.
  9. He played with Jelly too.
  10. Clarinet player had me thinking Garvin Bushell.
  11. Fantastic era for Jackie. Wish "Jacknife" had been issued singly.

  13. Me to. I like all Bud and feel blessed to have known him in his last years.
  14. Sad story (for me). Back in the late '70s/early '80s Clifford met with me in Michael Cuscuna's office (which he shared with Maxine Gregg) to convince me to buy all those masters. He had reference reels to play the unissued stuff. I couldn't afford it at the time and regretfully passed. Ultimately Michael issued the Mosaic box. Money was tight at the time and I waited (I have all the vinyl titles). Box went out of print - DAMN.
  15. In a blindfold test with Nils Winther I won a complete set of SteepleChase lps in 1980. The bet was my catalog against his catalog. When he lost he complained about the comparative size of our companies, but his lovely wife Mihoko made him deliver.
  16. Eddie Fischer playing the bible.
  17. Budd quietly kills.
  18. Not enough for a decent cd as far as I know.
  19. As soon as I get my cassette deck connected I'll be listening to this -
  20. Tommy is a retailer.
