  1. Thanks for your work.
  2. Great musician, phenomenal pianist, great task master, friend and a couple of regrets for me. Farewell.
  3. As the title says, it is available and will cost the shipping fee only.
  4. I made a file of the trio recordings in the sequence of my recording and started there.
  5. I tried that a few times and gave up. I also have the versions with the Iceland Symphony. It was driving me nuts, so I stopped. I understand the recording will be covered in the June issues of Down Beat and Jazz Times.
  6. Not possible but Roscoe has promised he'd greet BB for me. I envy you.
  7. So you listen to all the Webern in one session?

  10. Other than playing new acquisitions, I tend to listen in bunches - Maybe Red Allen, maybe a couple of pieces by Suk. Some of this results in both of your scenarios.
  11. Received this from Paal in Knoxville.
  12. this is the new one.
  13. I just wanted to point out my Jeff Crompton recordings are between Sonny Criss and Francesco Crosara.
  14. My copy looks fine from the outside but both lp jackets are split on the bottom. Sigh.
  15. What an impressive collection. I got this in Iowa City, just before moving to Chicago to work at Delmark.
  16. Had an outstanding time. Our first time to Big Ears, and not the last. Almost impossible to schedule a day without missing something great. Happy to see kh1958, charlesp, randyhersom, BFrank, jeffcrom and others. Made a bunch of new friends and spent time with some old friends. I see Randy mentioned The Thing (Paal Nilssnen-Love, Mats Gustafsson and Ingebrigt HÃ¥ker Flaten) who had a great show Friday night. Ashley Capps does a great job. Couple of music fans below.
  17. i understand that, I didn't think it extended to France.
  18. but the shipment originated in France.
  19. Mine arrived today. The box was messed up but the set seems fine. It was shipped from France but was delivered by the UPS/USPS combo!! How does that work?
  20. Paul was an interesting couple of people.
  21. Just back from the Big Ears Festival and fascinating music by friends old and new. I hope to write more after some sleep.
  22. Weather in the north east has caused some rescheduling and a couple of cancellations. Check with your mom.
