The Muhal is incomplete. I can think of 5 missing titles off the top of my head. -
Not sure this will help but here is a note from Cuscuna that was stuck inside my box. Yes, I got a promo.

The two RCAs are the same recordings. I suggest the Mercury because of its reputation, not personal experience. -
I attended the recording of For Trio.

Just playing Nielsen's Symphonic Rhapsody, drifted off and then thought I was listening to Dvorak. Sorry if this is obvious to all but I just connected.

No doubt the set will be amazing but...... In January I received a solicitation letter looking for "shareholders". A single "share" is $5000 with a promised return of $6000. The projected expenses were over $90,000. Good luck to all involved; musicians, producers, shareholders, customers. I do understand the difficulty in a project like this but I just don't..........................

The Nessa Juggernaut rolls on

FWIW, the release of ncd-29 completes the remastered reissue of the material in the Art Ensemble 1967/68 box. -
Same here. Whats the difference between the older and newer artists? Just guessing, but the difference some hear between bop/hard-bop and neo-bop? The difference between the music when it was fresh and the music when it was recreated by astute students of it? I got into the music just as the neo-boppers came out in force and I had/have no problem listening to both, but ... Dan is undoubtedly correct about this.

Better they should do a "Complete Prestige" disc including both takes of Yesterdays. -
Isn't this an advertising gimmick started by Audi?

Seems reasonable to me for one cd. If you order more, not so much. -
