I am now feeling so battered by both professional and college teams I am about to swear off sports as part of my "entertainment package". Been going to Cubs and Bears games for years and it might be hard to decouple. Really difficult to leave when both teams have new management - oh, I might have heard that before.

Dow has lots of baggage. I just like the commercial.

Met Jack Somer back in the day. Middle weight corporate record company guy with jazz as an interest IIRC. There were a bunch of those - they thought the "interest in jazz" would impress the suits above. As far as I know he did no harm and did some good.
