  9. My favorite Getz recording currently is the wrong track on the Hippo box. I can not believe these creeps ask us to live with an mp3 as a correction on a premium price set. I have purchased a number of their products and have stopped there. The lame Coltrane sets do not encourage more spending. If I can send out corrected discs and print material, why can't these conglomerates?
  10. Thank God the Europeans (and the English) stepped forward to continue the artform. Sorry we couldn't keep up our end.
  11. all the early Luis Russell titles with Pops and Barbarin.

  14. Mary Garden Claude Debussy Claude Jones
  15. Halcyon was a partnership of Hank O'Neal, Sherman Fairchild and Marian McPartland. The partnership was dissolved, O'Neal took some of the masters and started Chiaroscuro, Marian kept her masters.
  16. Bizet - Jeux d'enfants and Milhaud - Scaramouche are fun.
  17. Red West Jerri Southern McKinley Easton
  18. Elmo's Sounds from Rikers Island is one of my favorite rhythm dates. Hope and PJJ are locked in.
