  1. That fest needs a thread. I also heard Cecil, Lyons, Grimes and Murray at the event.
  2. The most recent AP disc I have says "Mastered by Kevin Gray, COHEARENT AUDIO."
  3. Posted on Facebook by a friend: I just heard that today's earthquake totally wiped out Louisa, Virginia. Property damage is expected to be in the hundreds of dollars...
  4. I attended the DB festival and the performance was incredible.
  5. Order of release.
  6. My guess is Transition, Seattle, Sun Ship and Infinity.
  7. His estate will still profit though won't they? If so I'd rather the money went to the estate and Sony than to someone in Andorra. Sony/Columbia is contractually obligated to pay artist royalties to the estate. Euro zone PD labels have no such obligation - so you are correct.
  8. We could re-word that to say Sony is trying to get as many dollars as they can before Euro PD sets in.
  9. I knew from the first pic.
  10. Sounds like the calculations I used to make for Coltrane at the Plugged Nickel.
  11. The only review I see is dated Oct. 2010 & is allegedly from the vinyl LP. Is that a problem? The review isn't very well written & includes several spelling errors. My bad. I didn't scroll down to the review, just reacted to the top of the page with the 5 star notice for unissued product.
  12. The cd is a reissue of an lp on Fountain. I'm sure the transfers are the same. Four of the extra tracks are from Brunswick/Vocalion. Not sure which other tracks are missing on your lp.
  13. BTW, lots of fine bonus tracks being lost along the way. For example I think they should have included Number One on the Expression disc. I understand the format but will not be buying the future boxs including lp issues of the leftovers.
  14. I'm looking forward to the issue but bummed by the "advance" review. Not cool in my book.
  15. It will never end.
  16. Japanese release I see. Over $50 for a single cd. I don't think so.
  17. A bitter cheese from my memory.
  18. He was murdered. Go search conspiracy theories.
  19. It worked for him.
  20. Sometimes an award worth winning.
  21. Didn't know that but I'm not surprised. He was a great actor. I was a big fan of the excesses of Ken Russell. These seemed to be the tainted whipped cream on the era.
  22. He was in a favorite of mine - "Women In Love".
  23. I believe we are talking about the same group. They just rubbed me the wrong way.
