  1. Have to admit I never "got" Clapton. By the time he was around I had a few years of listening to Muddy, Buddy, Otis, JB Hutto and Wolf in clubs. edit for typo.
  2. No price listed, but available next Tuesday - Elvin Mosaic
  3. Bad Food Bad Hockey Bad Singing
  4. You are wondering about Clapton???
  5. I said that earlier.
  6. Hah! I just checked to see if the was Amazon.crap ! And if anyone cares, I am about to quit.
  7. Lovely photo! Particularly nice colour. What town is it? That is a photo of Broad Street in Story City, Iowa.
  8. Shouldn't they be called doofi?
  9. He's on Snurdy McGurdy too.
  10. I don't think there are any phone booths left.
  11. Here is the pic. This is copied from Facebook. Not sure how much I can get from there to here. The story seems to be that the band objected to paying the $50 fee (since the door minimum wasn't reached) and the owner's son hit the drummer with a fist full of keys.
  12. Barnard Hughes Harold Hughes (Sen. from Iowa) Hugh O'Brian
  13. As a tiny label owner, it has been really hard to compete for $ when so many of these imports are flooding the market. These issues are not burdened with artist and/or studio expenses. It is triply hard to sell a new recording or thoughtful reissue (at a break even price) when the market is flooded with bargain priced discs by big name artists without the same expenses.
  14. I was being Dewey specific.
  15. Yeah! And yeah! (Though most of it was on the old "Ear of the Behearer"... the remainder is - if memory serves me right - mostly "little instruments"-music). and it wouldn't all fit.
  16. Thanks for your persistence.
  17. Howlin' Wolf's Spoonful. It has been a while.
  18. That's why I said Holy Crap.
  19. Holy Crap!
  20. They will have to eliminate the bonus track (Freedom) from Mingus x 5 to get it all to fit.
  21. That is up next.
  22. My set was delivered today. The box is a bit sturdier than the previous issues - the discs are in jewel boxes rather than digipaks like the earlier sets. The printing and folders are disappointing to me. I will probably keep a couple of earlier issues for the print quality - the Vanguard scan sucks. Very mixed feelings about the set right now. small typo edit
  23. Bill was a "business/music" friend for many years. I am truly sorry he has this problem. I don't think I can "forgive". Bad for Bill, worse for others.
