Ah, but do you think it should have stayed in the can?? Yes. The ongoing lowering of standards is unfortunate.
  3. Ann, bless her heart, has made shopping bags for the two of us. We get a $.05 discount per bag at local stores. I will never forget introducing Henry Grimes and companion to self checkout and shopping bags a few years ago. MM said "If they did this in NY, I'd never pay for anything".
  4. I recommend any HP b/w laser.
  5. I do not think AIG "will be fine". They should be but I think you missed something Connie.
  6. Also Hep CD1016 FLETCHER HENDERSON & His Orchestra 'Yeah Man' Studio performances 1931-33 featuring Coleman Hawkins and Red Allen
  7. Go Cubs!!!!!
  8. Just bend it back.
  9. Ericka is Joseph Jarman's composition and I no longer recall the person in question. Old age I guess. This theme has been recorded by Roscoe and/or the AEC a number of times. I even have another RM solo performance in the can. There is a stunning version by the Art Ensemble in the 1967/68 box.
  10. To slightly derail the topic, I remember countless people coming into my record store asking for the new Neil Young record "America, Horse With No Name".
  11. Guess you ain't talkin' 'bout this guy. Bummer.
  12. I should mention the eggplant and potatoes were from Ann's garden. She picked the blueberries and raspberries at a farm and bought the peaches from the local farmer's market. We tend to eat local. The chicken is probably from China.
  13. Baked BBQ chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, eggplant parmesan and fresh fruit (peaches, raspberries and blueberries). Edit for typo
  14. I'd buy a ticket.
  15. Pretty irritating if you have some of the originals.
  16. An outstandingly handsome family. I have complimented him in the past. His is way out of his league.
  17. Saw Dylan in the '60s and '70s. Two times in the '70s - with The Band in Boston (1974) and at a tv show shooting a couple of years later. He's ok but nothing I'd spend money on. YMMV. Forgot to say I rode a bus with him on the way to a club in the '60s. Not a great conversationalist.
  18. MPS had no North American distribution at the time so Sackville licensed it.
  19. I don't get it - the longest distance for me was 2.08 miles (Movie Theaters) and the score was 12!
  20. Keep 'em coming.
  21. Ben Webster & Arnvid Meyer's Orchestra : Arnvid Meyer (tp) John Darville (tb) Ben Webster, Ole Kongsted (ts) Niels Jørgen Steen (p) Hans Nymand (d) Copenhagen, September 21, 1965 Duke's in bed Nancy with the laughing face Brother John's blues Blue light
