DG's new book of poems, PASSING THROUGH
Chuck Nessa replied to David Gitin's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Won't you guys ever learn - pen and paper are "so yesterday". Blogs baby, blogs. Best wishes and congrats! How many rhyme? -
Can we end this now? I think we have the idea.
-
Please 'splain what the timeframe or some critic's opinion has to do with Jack's "jazz credentials". I see it as their problem, not his. AND my story was not that recent.
-
Really don't think that had anything to do with his "jazz credentials". Lester Bowie told me about some sort of "trumpet summit" he played in Boston. Jack walked on stage (looking like 300 lbs) and said something like "Sorry I'm so G-D fat, but I've been fucking for years and finally got pregnant".

Anybody else having trouble accessing AAJ today?

I got your "warm welcome" right here. -
I always thought the Hutch/Land dates were the guys cruising beneath their real talents. Sorry, they just don't do much for me. Seemed like a "paycheck band".
-

-
Been ready for this for years!
-
3 pieces popped in my head but none were listed. Geez!

i see mister AAJ is on board at the current time. Any news Mike? -
Well I have all the recordings but will get the cd just to see MC and Rudy. I'm sure I asked him all the same questions one time or other but it will be nice to play it back.

45 years ago, in the dark of the night (naturally) a few hundred negro folks marched to a farm house in central Iowa and abducted me. Can anyone here help me?
-
Thanks guys, but what about Serenade and Blues?

Chuck Nessa replied to Popper Lou's topic in Miscellaneous Music
The answers in this poll have really depressed me. I thought it was about music/society and (at least for the voters) it is society/music. DAMN! -
Geez! I'll try but don't think it's likely - If you have a chance, tell him I love him. Damn.
-
Likely related to Dennis Day and all the other Days, like Doris and Green.
