I was playing both Africa/Brass and The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady and noticed how nicely they played together. Does anyone have any suggestions for what might round out the rest of a 5-disc changer (if you have more suggestions, don't limit yourself). Looking for a similar sound. Thanks.

Years from now will scattered bands of surviving humans remember this as the event that led to the creation of super-pigs that destroyed civilization? -
The complete X-files series (seasons 1 through 9). I wish they had stopped sooner.

Absolutely loved it........ until I drove it. I still think this is one of the best looking new cars out there right now. I was seriously considering buying one. I test drove one with the LIMITED trim - the bigger V6 (3.5L 250hp) as well as a "C" (5.7L 340 hp V8). I felt the V6 was a bit underpowered and am really surprised they make a smaller V6, the base model with 2.7L 190hp. The "C" was great. But of course it starts at $33k and can approach $40k depending on whether you go all wheel drive or the highend SRT-8. My biggest complaint was the thing is just too boaty. Really mushy handling. I wanted it to drive as powerful as it looks. Alas, it's another "grandpa" car - although admittedly grandpa just got a helluva lot hipper. Other minor, yet important considerations, the stylish looks afforded by the short, high side windows does impact visibility significantly. The view from the rear window seems a bit restricted too. There's a lot of room inside, but much of it is wasted. I felt like the front dash was about a mile from the windshield - it's like a coffee table with a steering wheel. I did enjoy the headroom. I am 6'3" (which I don't consider all that tall) and was glad I could get behind the wheel and not have my head bump the roof (even with the moon roof). Bottom line: if I were my father I would have bought the "C". Now I am looking at the Acura TL.

I'll second the Dell. I've got 'em all over the place - home, office, friends, parents, grandparents etc. Reliable. Good value.

JERUSALEM — The newest addition to the Israeli non-lethal arsenal is called the "Scream" — a device security forces use to blast a focused beam of sound intended to chase off anyone in its path. "The system produces a sound that no human being can stand for a long time," an Israel military commander explained to FOX News. Source: FoxNews

Thanks Chaney! When the Car Chase Network debuts on Cable Channel 1023, that should be the very first thing they play! I bought that DVD for the chase scene. What did you think of the Mustang ad that used old footage of Steve?

Wal-Mart, Microsoft, Starbucks... everyone loves to bash the big guys - mostly because it's a popular thing to do. I got Highway 61 Revisited a while ago and really liked it. Blonde on Blonde and Blood on the Tracks are next, along with this Starbucks release I'll bet.

Sounds pretty good. I just hope the CD isn't pulled from the market because of the title of the first track, in the tradition of Basra....

Sounds like a decent program - would love to see it come to Tusla.

How far behind could the Sept RVGs mentioned in this thread be? And then Conns in October. Seems like Blue Note has upped the reissue pace. The only complaints are from my wallet!

Don't Ask, Don't Tell A rock album, full of guitar and guts, produced by Dusty Wakeman (Dwight Yoakam, Anne McCue.) Early comparisons have been drawn to Richard Thompson's Shoot out the Lights with the chromatic eclecticism of an album like Los Lobos' Kiko. Mexican Standoff This is 'Border Americana,' Shocked's unique tribute to both her Latin and Texas roots. Grounded in the blues tradition that infuses all of her work, it squares off with the influences of her adapted home, Los Angeles. 'You know more Spanish than you think you do,' is how she accounts for the showdown between the Texas blues on one side and the 'Spanglish' stories she weaves on the other. Got No Strings A Western swing twist on Disney songs produced by Nick Forster (Hot Rize, ETown.) For young and old alike, the album was a collaboration with Disney artist David Willardson. Listen to tracks at CDUniverse I'm not sure about these yet. Gonna have to play the clips some more. But they are interesting to say the least.
