  1. Thanks Seeline for this! Familiar with Excavated Shallac (everyone should check out the post on broken records that have come his way), but Haji Maji is a wonderful surprise! Thanks again! R~~
  2. I used some ointment and now you can hardly see it!
  3. To me, it's almost all unreadable...so much for the "C" part of the triad
  4. Wikipedia comes thru again: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology#A...d_KRC_triangles
  5. iTunes music is stored in a folder that is stored in a single place. Whenever an edit is made it is made to a file in this folder. It doesn't matter how many drives that you have, all editing is done to files in this one folder. When you first load iTunes on your computer, it creates it's own folder on your main HD and if you ever wish to change where the folder is located (to an external 2TB drive, for instance), then you just go to your Preferences/Advanced and change the location of the folder. You don't need to change any directory files or anything else. If you want iTunes to find all of the tunes on your computer: Advanced/Consolidate Library. If you're wanting to keep your library separate over two drives then you either can make a temporary user account or just hold down the "option" key when starting iTunes and you can choose your "other" library.
  6. 8738m:08s ...but you won't get a full 20GB of music on a 20GB HD.
  7. A grand moment indeed!! It's nice to be able to exhale. It seems just like yesterday she was kicking around beach balls amongst 6 foot inflatable dinosaurs! I guess the inflatable dancing banana has become a memory as well? - Hey! and just before yer 25th too! I'll wish you two congrats now 'cause I'll be out of town on the 3rd. Reminiscence is good (and so is breathing). best to all of you!, R~~
  8. Complicated? It's ease is what's made it so incredibly popular. I can safely say that I've never seen iTunes put something in the "wrong" place. There are hundreds of ways of being able to organize your collection and most of it is just in the click of a button. Album artist? In this case: John Tilbury
  9. Doesn't this LP's cover - made back in about '70 - have something to do with the 'tology goons? Isn't there some kind of significance with the letters and triangle?
  10. Ha! ...but in other broadcast bits when I've been interviewed, it's always when it's so stinking hot outside and I don't want to look like a bum. Of course, this is Texas...
  11. Congrats! Yes, it'll become an addiction. I still have the older 60GB version. I can't see going to anything larger now 'cause even when it's filled to the brim, the thing always goes back to the beginning after you plug it back into your computer, so there ends up being lots of tunes that you never hear anyway if you're listening on shuffle mode. The big positive is that you can access a huge amount to fit your mood when you're not in shuffle.
  12. ecogas: "green" gas station It was 100° and I was sweatin' like a pig -
  13. Saw them during the "...Seventh Galaxy" tour. They were opening for Bachman-Turner Overdrive - incredible to think of that now. My friend Corky and I just walked backstage to meet them and it was a complete breeze to do so. Music chit-chat followed by helping with loading their truck (suckers!) and even an offer of a ride home afterwards (which we didn't take because we had someone already waiting for us) When the next LP, "Where Have I Known You Before," came out I noticed our names on the back of it and wondered...still wondering today! The music continued downhill from there with that pixie-ass crap...
  14. http://tinyurl.com/6m4f9c From Consumer Reports: "TwoDaLoo is one commodious commode. It's the "first toilet two people can use at the exact same time," says the Web site for the seller, WiseRep.com, and "brings couples closer together." But you have to be flush with cash to buy a TwoDaLoo: It costs $1400, and the company only takes orders of a dozen or more at a time. Concerned about indelicate noises or just want to multitask? An "upgraded version" includes a TV and an iPod docking station."
  15. "One Fine Morning"...they were from Toronto, I think. Forgot about them. A little more pop than jazz for my taste, but there were parts of their first LP, I think (the one with the reflective silver cover...just like If's first LP as well), that had some nice moments.
  16. The same way that this was a hit: http://tinyurl.com/3422u6 They both had a good agent?
  17. The band "If" was more to my liking during this time. Great musicians like Dick Morrissey and Dave Quincy and a powerful singer in J.W. Hodgkinson with that unique voice. Still sounds great today.
  18. Both of these are fun! I bought them for my brother-in-law's Xmas a few years back. Basta should still have them. They're a wonderful company. Nearly everytime I've ordered from them, they've put some kind of a special freebie in with my order - usually a compilation IIRC. If you're still having a hard time finding it, let me know and I can check around here for my copies.
  19. Might consider updating my LPs with this. My uncle (father's brother) was their agent ("Ides of March" too). Bill Chase seemed like a friendly fellow. Strange coincidence: The opening song to their first LP was called "Open Up Wide." The last song on their final album, before the plane crash, was called "Close Up Tight."
  20. SOMEONE YOU CALL YOUR FRIEND, WANTS YOU DEAD. I felt very sorry and bad for you, that your life is going to end like this if you don't comply, i was paid to eliminate you and I have to do it within10 days. Someone you call your friend wants you dead by all means, and the person havespent a lot of money on this, the person also came to us and told us that he wants you dead at any cost. Meanwhile, I have sent my men to track you down and they have carried out all the necessary investigation needed for the operation, but I ordered them to stop for a while and not to strike immediately because I just felt something good and sympathetic about you. I decided to contact you first and know why somebody will want you dead by all means. Right now my men are monitoring you, their eye sare on you, and even the place you think is safer for you to hide might not be. Now do you want to LIVE OR DIE? It is up to you. Get back to me now if you are ready to enter deal with me, I mean life trade, who knows, and I might just spear your life, $12,000 is all you need to spend. You will first of all pay $4,000 then I will send the tape of the person that want you dead to you and when the tape gets to you, you will pay the remaining $8,000. If you are not ready for my help, then I will have no choice but to carry on the assignment after all I have already being paid before now. Warning: Do not think of contacting the police or even tell anyone because I will extend it to any member of your family espacialy the childrens since you are aware that somebody wants you dead, and the person knows some members of your family as well. For your own good I will advise you not to go out once is 7pm until I make out time to see you and give you the tape of my discussion with the person who want you dead then you can use it to take any legal action. Good luck as I await your reply to this e-mail contact: bulletpoint_target@ubbi.com Mr.Anthonio Benito. (must be Tony Bennett's mendacious brother!)
  21. Saw him on TV just recently and he certainly didn't look like a man in his mid-80's! Somewhere around here there's a VHS of the reunion Laugh-In. My mom dated Dan Rowan and a friend in college used to make silly remarks saying that I kind of looked a little like him. He was a funny man who could make you laugh uncontrollably just by twisting his face in just the right way.
  22. My old band! 'bout time that they played there! If you go, say "Hi!" to Carl and Jeffrey for me!
  23. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about: http://www.baywaypolishhome.org/
