Sorry to see this. I was at the station this afternoon and informed the local DJ (who plays a lot of jazz on her show - she's a big fan of Abdullah Ibrahim) about his death and she was able to fit in some tunes. I remember Albertson had some very unkind words about Q, but no matter how "difficult" the guy may have been, he left us a big bounty of music to enjoy. ... and, hey! he stuck around to 91!
