I had the chance to see him a few times and it was breathtaking each time. Twice with Shivkumar Sharma, once with U. Srinivas (who died way too young) and once with Nikhil Banerjee. All of them now gone. Memories are there tho. The video below is not that good, but you'll still see and hear the mastery of both: Oh! That's interesting... because the news is flooded with info about his death! I hope he makes a full recovery. Any updates about him still being in the hospital are 12 hours old, so we'll have to wait and see what the news is from the family. Maybe someone can put a notice on the title of this - "pending confirmation" or something like that.

Have always loved her work. I had a big crush on her in the early 70s and told her so when she came to town for a reading. Her albums got a lot of play at home in those days. like a ripple on a pond...

I'm guessing that it's a reference to something Larry Kart said at some time, but he'll have to fill us in on that if it's something he remembers.
