  1. Can I assume all of you across the pond know about Martha Stewart and why we here in the US make fun of her? Maybe not all of us, but some of us do know about Ms Stewart.
  2. You can do that by deleting your first post and re-posting it in the "Miscellaneous - Non-Political" forum or PM Jim and ask him to move this thread there.
  3. Love's great albums (in my opinion): Love Da Capo Forever Changes
  4. Why not? Because you say so?
  5. The search feature is a wonderful thing... Earlier Mosaic promo thread
  6. Hans is not only watching baseball, but at 4:30 AM? Ball games are live on cable TV over here, but unfortunately (for me) mostly in the middle of our night... You clearly didn't take a peek at my profile His walk-off HR was amazing
  7. The search feature is a wonderful thing... See the earlier Jazzmatazz threads here, here, and here.
  8. There were a few Dutch involved you know...
  9. Great ball game! Cleveland 8, Red Sox 9. (I'm off to bed now, it's 4:30 AM over here...)
  10. If I remember correctly it was reissued on CD in 1994, Savoy 228
  11. Wow, who would imagine that this guy could get violently drunk and spew crazy, hateful nonsense? Says a lot about him, doesn't it...
  12. Absolutely disgusting. By the way, Michael Caine is English... And John Candy is Canadian. And so is Dan Aykroyd, while Gibson was raised in Australia.
  13. Is this some kind of joke? Who the fuck gets this worked up over comments on a hollywood actor/producer? Not cool. It seems to be a trend; Wolff has posted something like this before, here...
  14. I don't think this xenophobic and insulting crap should be tolerated here.
  15. Forget it, Wolff has posted something similar here...
  16. Absolutely disgusting. By the way, Michael Caine is English...
  17. Happy birthday Gary, and good luck with the Saints this coming Championship season. I hope it'll be better than the last one...
  18. Shipping to PayPal-confirmed addresses only as stated in the description of the Nat King Cole set could be a problem for destinations outside the United States, as addresses in several countries cannot be confirmed. I asked PayPal about this, and they said they had no plans to change that situation in the near future.
  19. Up, still searchin'...
  20. I saw an interview with his mother the other day, apparently they're Quakers or something (?). She had to ride a bike (in her very conservative clothing) over to someone else's house in order to watch the Tour finale. Apparently they don't own a car. Maybe the USPS Team should start scouring the Quaker & Amish communites for strong bike riders in the future I doubt they're Quakers. Quakers don't shun modern technology--just war. They're probably Mennonite, if not Amish. They live in Lancaster County (about 80 miles from here), the heart of Amish/Mennonite country. They're Mennonites. Landis said so on Dutch TV.
  21. I had a Japanese LP reissue of that album back in my vinyl days. It's been a long time since I last heard it, but if my memory doesn't fail me I quite liked it.
