  2. Happy birthday.
  3. ...And he clearly doesn't have hearing problems
  4. I have both the Mosaic and the SBJC, and I prefer the former. Addey's a sound wizard! He must be a music lover
  5. The Japanese reissue is an SBJC McMaster remaster. The Mosaic was remastered by Malcolm Addey.
  6. Happy belated birthday.
  7. Jazzshrink is right, the only way to get Little Niles as a single CD is to go for the Japanese reissue. It’s not available anywhere else (apart from the Mosaic, of course)
  8. Why don't you ask Hiroshi? I don't think we can answer that - though I can only speak for myself, of course
  9. I sent Japanese cash by registered letter in similar cases and never had a problem.
  10. He's the only one who can answer that question...
  11. Why don't you ask Hiroshi Tanno to act as a middleman and get them for you? He'll probably charge you a fee, but it might be the only way to get them - unless a board member living in Japan is willing to oblige, of course.

    Funny Rat

Just been listening to Deals, Ideas, and Ideals and, apart from some caveman growling on track 7 (), it's a great album. Thanks for the recommendation!
  13. Question is, will you be happy in a new house without (many of) your CDs?
  14. ...and many happy returns!
  15. I hope everything's OK. Would love to see you back here! All the best.
  16. Great pioneer, great label, and another sad loss.
  17. Never heard of him; is he selling on eBay?
  18. I always get the feeling they're using tourist rates, which are not very favorable for their customers, no matter if you're paying or getting money...

    Wadada Leo Smith

It'll probably on pre-order price until the end of this week.
  20. Rumor has it that they "borrowed" it from Bear Family.
  21. Here's a post by "Montgomery Cleft" in a thread on "The Devil's Music", a blues forum; scroll down for the paragraph where he discusses JSP. It might shed some light on the issue.
  22. Sent you a PM.
  23. Happy birthday!
  24. Errr... Isn't this a Jimmy Raney album?
