Of all the categories on the board in which to post, I thought this might be the best place to post this question: I bought a CD from an reputable eBay seller in Japan which I had sent registered mail. After two weeks of waiting for the disc, I emailed the seler who gave me a "RR" tracking number. I checked the USPS website and found that it was delivered to the US on 12/28/09. I called the USPS which wasn't of any use but figured that the disc is tied up in US customs. Any advice or contact info would be greatly appreciated. I hope it hasn't gone into the abyss/.

I'm going to Washington, D.C. this weekend and would like to know what's left in terms of used CD shops. Thanks. Bob

I just opened my copy-all the discs are scratched and have dried glue on them! The discs are wedged into very tight envelopes which are obviously glued together. Very poor packaging. Bob

Thanks for the imput but I've had bad luck ordering discs from sellers on amazon many times getting RVG Editions and/or promo/record club copies not to mention discs in worse condition than advertised. Bob

Just read about a session by Jeremy Steig "Flute Fever" in the Denny Zeitlin-Mosaic Select booklet. Has this ever been issued on CD? Sounds like it could be great set.

amazon.co.uk lists a 11 May 2009 release date on this set. Hopefully this is a real release date!

How is the sound quality/remastering quality of the Ahmad Jamal Complete Pershing, Alhambra, Blackhawk and Spotlite Club recordings that have been reissued in Europe as well as the Naked City Theme/Extensions and Happy Moods LPs that have been reissued on Jazz Beat? I have "Cross Country Tour: 1958-1961" and "Ahmad's Blues" which MCA/Universal released on CD about 10 years ago. I love this music and want more but I've given up on Mosaic reissuing the Ahmad Jamal Argo/Cadet LPs on CD.
