  3. This is the worst. I just bought a B-3, and was moving it into the club where I was doing the gig. Then as soon as I sat down at the thing to start warming up, I woke up from my dream, B-3-less!. Damn!!! That sucks!
  4. I'd say yes, for Verve. A&M overdubbed a lot of things also. I'd say yes, (with the help of John S.) to both recording periods.
  5. why? The three letters that spell, P*O*P.
  6. Never even saw.

  10. Well if she got by this far doing what crap she has been, the one night she does an enjoyable song, I'm not surprised. I gave up the show. This thread just reminded me it was on last night.
  11. I never thought about it. I guess he did.
  12. Zawinul. I like Weather Report to an extent. Except for that, I'm not into electric piano. I love Chick Corea, but prefer him on acoustic piano.
  13. I have no idea what the hell it is. It's black, and it cuts my hair. That's all I need to know.
  14. I just shave my head. If it bothers you that much, invest 20 bucks in a razer and shave your head for, free!!!! Works every time for me.

  21. Now that's a matter of interpertation isn't it........
  22. Wow, Jimmy's not winning. I picked Jimmy, because he was, the master. I think Larry Young had real groovy chops, and showed off a lot. Jimmy Smith, IMO was a little different. I don't really think he showed off that much, but everything he did was just perfect. I never heard him play a mistake. Home Cookin' is the best example. There's not fireous playing on that album, but everything he does is so groovy and locked in, it's just perfect. Flawless! I don't know what else to say, and to me that's the most important thing. Jimmy Smith lives on!
