  1. does 50 cent like jazz?
  2. Well if she got by this far doing what crap she has been, the one night she does an enjoyable song, I'm not surprised. I gave up the show. This thread just reminded me it was on last night.
  3. I never thought about it. I guess he did.
  4. Zawinul. I like Weather Report to an extent. Except for that, I'm not into electric piano. I love Chick Corea, but prefer him on acoustic piano.
  5. I have no idea what the hell it is. It's black, and it cuts my hair. That's all I need to know.
  6. I just shave my head. If it bothers you that much, invest 20 bucks in a razer and shave your head for, free!!!! Works every time for me.

Who said anything about Dave Burrell? I'm just trying to get some good convo on Kenny.
  13. Now that's a matter of interpertation isn't it........
  14. Wow, Jimmy's not winning. I picked Jimmy, because he was, the master. I think Larry Young had real groovy chops, and showed off a lot. Jimmy Smith, IMO was a little different. I don't really think he showed off that much, but everything he did was just perfect. I never heard him play a mistake. Home Cookin' is the best example. There's not fireous playing on that album, but everything he does is so groovy and locked in, it's just perfect. Flawless! I don't know what else to say, and to me that's the most important thing. Jimmy Smith lives on!
  15. Man May's closer than I thought! Krazy Kat will be posting in three weeks!
  16. Usually when a drummer proposses a song he/she wrote, there's a lot of drum solos in it.
  17. I think the most creative music would of came out of him in the rest of the 60's. I think now, he would just be playing (great of course). The 80's was one of the worst things to happen to jazz, imo.
  18. MICK MICK MICK
  19. His last album, entitled, Richie! With Mundell Lowe, Monty BUdwig and Nick Ceroli is quite good. He actually sings a song.
  20. Let's just make it the new Organissimo cut in celebration!
