  1. Not curious at all. You're #354,441.
  2. Their selection is pretty depleted, but you never know what may still be in stock.
  3. At some point, you'd think they'd realize that I've been going apeshit all morning placing 3-CD orders. I just bought the Charlie Parker Savoy/Dial takes for SIX BUCKS!!! At this moment, anyway...
  4. I just hope for one of those photos where I can see up her skit and she ain't wearing any undies. She isn't even my type... EWWW!! There's lots of women I'd like to see naked, and she ain't even in the top 1,000,000. In fact, there are some MEN ahead of her on that list!
  5. We'll find out. I just placed three orders of three CDs each. Every one of them was free. We'll see if they actually ship them at that price.
  6. Witlessly whitless.
  7. Wow. I'm impressed!
  8. I guess they couldn't resist that white label, similar to early Riverside, some OJC have. It makes those "Sound of Sonny" looks like the real deal, especially with a blurred Ebay picture... please add the typical Ebay "more money than brain (and eyes, and knowledge)" behaviour, and you have an explanation of those 500 $. Try $599, not $500: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sound-Of-SONNY-ROLLINS...bayphotohosting I have seen this ebay listing many times...is it a sincere mistake ? or a very bad scam ? other reissues are lsited in the price range ... anyway, nobody "bought it now". Somebody did. Unbelievable. And the pictures of the record label are very clear. You can see OJC right there on the label. Hell, I just bought an OJC LP of Mulligan Plays Mulligan for six bucks. I think I'll give it a shot!
  9. What did you order? Actually I'm more curious as to how many you ordered.
  10. When I bring up the code, it gives me: Buy 1, Get Unlimited $1.99 CDs, plus take three Additional FREE CDs
  11. Funny thing: I was in the same boat as you, but I cancelled it a few weeks ago. Then I had a free CD come up as a result of accumulated music points. The Cox was still listed, so I added it to my cart. I just checked my account and it shipped on Friday. I think I got the last one.
  12. Done!
  13. As a follow-up, this is what BMG sent to me: This happened last year with THE SPOILER, LUSH LIFE, and THE RIGHT TOUCH RVGs, so I hope it's happening again and these titles will be available again. Still, with what is going on with EMI, I can't help but wonder if EMI/Blue Notes will disappear from their catalog like they did when Fantasy became Concord.
  14. I've updated the list to show who's getting CDRs and who's downloading. You can always change from one to the other.
  15. How is CAT HOUSE PIANO? If you like nonstop boogie-woogie piano, you'd love this. For me personally, it gets repetitive after the third or fourth song.
  16. No, this kind of comment is actually extremely rare. Most NFL coaches and players take blame, with the occassional bitch about ref calls. Yeah, it's usually the clueless fanboys who say that kinda shit. I guess that would include Wade Philips, cometothinkofit.
  17. These titles have mysteriously disappeared all-of-a-sudden.
  18. Now I'm officially pissed. Direct quotes from Wade hisself at today's press conference: "The better team lost yesterday. We outplayed them yesterday." My bullshit meter is thru the roof. Y'know, it's getting harder and harder to cheer for the home teams when mediocrity is the accepted norm around here.
  19. Would it all fit on one CD?
  20. Smooth jazz.... now THERE'S something we don't talk nearly enough about around here....
  21. Probably the biggest irony in this whole Cow mess is this little tidbit: remember who Jerry Jones passed over for Wade Philips and his spotless playoff record (i.e. it hasn't been blemished by a playoff win)? Norv Turner. Coach of the Chargers. Who are still in the playoffs. For now, anyway. More trivia: the Cows are the first top-seed to lose in the first round since the 12-team playoff schedule started in 1990. They've also tied the record for most consecutive playoff losses with six. The Jerry Jones Death Star (a/k/a the new home of the Cows) is looking more and more like an exercise in futility.
  22. I dunno. Maybe it was because his team had been winning all year, but he really became a team player this year. He made blocks that he wouldn't've dreamed of making last year. He drew double-coverage so that another receiver could be left open. How this translates into the 2008 season, however, is anyone's guess.
  23. Up, scrounging for more participants. Has interest in BFT's dried up? I have six particpants, two of whom are participating at gunpoint.
  24. Talk about two teams with identical records but going in completely opposite directions. The Packers are red hot. The Cowboys annual December swoon is in full gear (I know they won the previous two games prior to today, but they were difficult wins and they were hardly playing at their best in those games). Today was the proverbial opening of the floodgates. Only now it seems like the problem is on the OFFENSIVE side. Roy Williams should be suspended for the rest of the season for that horse-collar penatly. Hey shitferbrains: THAT RULE WAS PUT ON THE BOOKS BECAUSE OF YOU, YA DUMBFUCK! 11-2, bigdealsowhat. You heard it here first, and you actually heard it last week: the Cowboys playoff futility continues this year with yet another first-round exit. I'm not always right about things, but pardon me while I pat (pardon the pun) myself on the back for calling this one way back when.
  25. Have you not read any of my posts this season? Whaddya think: Tony = Dirk
