  1. Funny, that Rouse LP's reputation (and price) is so high and whenever I check it out onlineit never does much for me. I will try again with this pending issue
  2. Joseph Conrad Marlon Brando Evan Dando
  3. I'm very happy to join you in that minority
  4. Second vote for Kilogram, bought some good stuff from that label 10 years or so ago. Also Multikulti Project and For tune. Both Polish I think.
  5. William Walton Black Eyed Peas William Makepeace Thackeray
  6. What a shame. I enjoyed his playing with Pavone and Hampel. Never had the chance to see him live.
  7. Duke Pearson Fiona Apple Modern Jazz Quartet
  8. Hugh Lawson Boy George Georgie Fame
  9. Lovely listen, thanks. I do prefer her trio recordings, except for the Strata East.
  10. Chris Stein Sonny Criss Christopher Cross
  11. William Shakespeare Bridget Bardot Dot Cotton
  12. PJ Harvey Harvey Swartz 'Black' Arthur Blythe
  13. I have all of them, apart from the Taylor for some reason. Enjoyed them all when they came out and revisit the Haden, AEOC, Old & New Dreams and Coleman occasionally.
  14. It does, doesn't it. I'm always surprised how there's so much to hear each time I dig his music out. Never disappoints
  15. A titan, in so many ways. I was due to go to that concert a thousand years ago and life got in the way
  16. The second has the added bonus of Elaine Michener, always a big plus in this household
  17. Holding out for the LP, so far. Just one day I realise...
  18. Just one for me today Sabir Mateen 'Creation' on 577. Edit to correct the autocorrect. Although I quite liked Sabine Mateen
  19. Great, thank you
  20. I agree about Thomas. The two recent releases on Otoroku on which he features are both worth investigating. The duo with Matana Roberts and the Black Top https://www.cafeoto.co.uk/shop/somegoodnews/ That Local's sounds great fun
  21. What else by him would you recommend CT, or others?
  22. I've had a couple of LP deliveries from EU and both have arrived quickly and without any extra payment. Looks like it's the old "will it, won't it" jeopardy as with customs charges from US
  23. That's Vimeo. So the reissue sounds better than the original?
  24. They did, there's a clip of the shop in one of the Sun Ra films, 'A Joyful Noise' iirc
