    Stevie Wonder

so what's the answer to the original question?
  5. Jirí Stivín & Co Jazz System - Five Hits in a Row (Supraphon) a nice Czech effort from 1972 featuring Polish guest Zbigniew Seifert and US guest Barre Phillips. Stivín plays various flutes. This is pretty much all over the map and nicely jerky. It sounds like some jam from Uncle Meat at times. Neat!
  6. There you have it Big Al: if you do not like what Springsteen has been up to in the past 25 years, don't bother with the album. I mean, why did you even ask?! :rsly:

  21. two disks?! one disk should suffice for that. Power to the limitation! It's smaller, it's cheaper, it's faster, it's more focussed, it fits better with our modern lifestyle, and it does the dishes too. One disk puts a smaller toll on the environment as well.
  22. uh-huh... link to that mp3 of the first minute (courtesy of rostasi)
  23. 1960, James Clay & David Fathead Newman - The Sound of Wide Open Spaces (Riverside) 1962, Grant Green - The Latin Bit (Blue Note) 1962, Sonny Rollins records for his "What's New" album (RCA)

  25. I have a Verve reissue of this from somewhen 70s and that title was deleted. It's just the three names and the six tune titles at the bottom. Still no answer to your question...
