Anybody heard anything about this device, or used one? Is it a new design? Just curious... I know a fellow boardmember wanted to get one for Mac. This basically seems to be an external soundcard, no? which could be good as you cancel any influence from static and whatnot from all the other stuff in your computer.

Removing clicks and pops while keeping the music intact is not something that is done in a whiff. I just spent several days on fifteen minutes of music (7" 45pm, bad Polish pressing), that takes more perseverance than experience. If your vinyl is clean, then there shouldn't be a problem though. How much do they ask?

listening to side 5, around the 1:13 mark the saxophone is introduced and it plays a short figure. Sounds like a Charlie Parker quote, Cool Blues (Hot Blues), maybe?
