You know, I responded to Allen's comment about him willfully being a provocateur. I didn't call him a name. And yet here you come along insulting me. Nice, real nice. I've said nothing to you or about you in this thread whatsoever, and yet you feel like attacking. I can see why Conn would be thinking about quitting the board. There's alot more bad vibes around here than I remember in a long time too.

I don't think Hans' feelings toward you (whatever they may be - I don't know or care what he thinks of you) have anything to do with his removal of an unnecessary sexual image. I see no point in being a provocateur for the sake of provoking either. Yawn.

I agree with this. I think Hans is a reasonable person. I think alot of us would have a difficult time having to judge other's posts and threads and decide what is "right" for the community. And the answer isn't 100% freedom to post anything you like, either. I don't think it adds any value to the board to post drawings of people having sex. It doesn't reflect well on this community, and it doesn't reflect well on Jim and the band. And that's at least part of why this board exists. We could all stand to think a bit more about what we're doing/saying/sharing, prior to posting, IMHO. I don't really get the point of the sexy women threads either. There are plenty of sites on the web to look at that stuff - why bring it here solely for the point of sharing pictures on this site.

Great show! Basically the same type of set as last fall - the first half is the entirety of The Incident, then a break, and then a second half with various tracks. The Incident sounded alot better to me than when I saw them in Philly. I think they're playing it all better, and I'm also more familiar with it by now. Great performance. Then the second half of the show was: The Start of Something Beautiful Russia on Ice Anesthetize Lazarus Strip the Soul/.3 Buying New Soul Bonnie the Cat The Sound of Muzak Trains The highlight for me was Buying New Soul. Great performance! Was nice to finally hear Lazarus live as well, though the keyboards were buried too far in the mix. All in all a great, energetic performance, good sound, and nice venue. Got to talk with all four of them after the show for a bit, and they seemed to be having a good time and enjoying this tour. My opinion of Gavin Harrison goes up every time I see him live. Go see 'em!

Many thanks! I appreciate all the knowledge I've picked up from folks here, as well as the friendships and just plain fun I've had here over the years. Thanks to Jim for giving us this community! My girlfriend (now fiance ) was able to come down for the week, so that's been a nice b-day gift! Also get to spend some time with my kids. Can't ask for much more!

I think the thing about this is that those folks who wear the Yankees logo in those places aren't necessarily fans though. It's a symbol of America, like McDonalds. They wear it for style, not to show they're a fan of the team or even follow baseball at all. Having feelings of animosity towards them for this reason is basically a huge waste of time.
