the photographer is Michael Wilderman. he does not know who the guy on the right is, but he thinks that it's the drummer. it could also be the drummer John Goldsmith in the photo.

The only non-hendrix rock music that i have is Lou Reed's 1978 u.s. tour. Maybe now rca will finally release the complete live sessions for the May 1978 bottom line, nyc "Live: Take No Prisoners" album. I've been wating for years.

The recent Storyville "100 Years-Forever Young" included tracks from a December, 1953 Boston date, but that is with Gildo Mahones on piano, not Horace Silver. too bad this Storyville "100 Years-Forever Young" info wasn't posted in the 'new releases' section 3 years ago.

i have the film. the only live footage is some very small clips from a 1966 european show, 1970 fondation maeght, and silent new york eye and ear control. but it's mostly talking heads. all the live footage probably totals to about 5 minutes.
