I get it. One problem is our local post office is so bad that when you dial the so-called local hot line number the phone rings forever & no one picks up. Thanks for letting me vent. At least I have case numbers from USPS. If they never find my stuff, hopefully the vendors will reship.
We went up & checked this a.m. Several of the parcel boxes are open & have packages left behind in them. I guess people had keys that weren't for them & just left the packages behind. None were ours. Several of the parcel boxes are closed without keys sticking out of them. We left messages inside & outside of our mailbox. The USPS has not responded other than to indicate they have the case numbers. I may try to get the vendors to reship. BTW, FedEx sure post has been the most problematic.
All of those are possible. I've reported this to the USPS & case numbers have been assigned. We placed a note inside our mailbox but apparently it wasn't looked at. Today we added a note taped to the outside of our mailbox. This is all ridiculous whatever the reason is.
Thanks Chuck. Then find my 2 boxes the USPS "delivered" 2 days ago & are nowhere to be found. I guess you're a lucky guy. USPS is "investigating", whatever that means. I'll report back!!
In our area we each have a small individual mailbox. If something doesn't fit, there are larger parcel boxes. They're supposed to leave a key in your small mailbox for the large parcel box.
2 packages, 2 vendors, allegedly delivered yesterday at 8 p.m., key left in parcel box for pickup.
The problem is there is no key for the parcel box. USPS is "investigating". Been down this road before.
