  2. 2 episodes to go. I believe it has been renewed.
  3. Jo Nesbo: The Redbreast I guess I'm hooked.
  4. Reading this reminds me why I spend so little time in music forums. I've nothing against differing opinions, humor or even occasional sarcasm used in a 'community' context. And, while I do not necessarily mind the heat, being discourteous is never hip. Invective should never be welcome here. Moms is the resident "troublemaker" on many topics. I take him with a (very large) grain of salt.
  5. FWIW I've enjoyed Mr. Haynes playing with Taylor Ho Bynum, Bill Dixon, etc.
  6. Upset that I didn't receive this e-mail - then I found it in my spam filter. Oooops.
  7. Damages - Season 4
  8. Dusty Groove had this for "a minute". Managed to get my order in, & it's been shipped. Looking forward.
  9. There's really a site called Barfko-Swill? Do you have a link? It's the Zappa Family website and emporium: Barfko-Swill Thanks - I think.
  10. There's really a site called Barfko-Swill? Do you have a link?
  11. I don't know what I have, what I've heard & what I don't have anymore. Life should be simpler.
  12. Saw Eliane Elias in person recently. She can still play & sing, but (IMHO) is getting a little past the time when she can or should continue her short dress, spike heels, etc. appearance. For some reason this came to mind while perusing this thread. Obviously people (including Diana Krall)can choose to dress however they want. Sometimes things just stop being attractive.

  14. For making fruit salad, yeah. I hope when your having your colonoscopy you'll be thinking about fruit salad. Hope your doctor isn't.
  15. In the end, Grant Green was a neighborhood kind of guy who liked getting high, making records, and playing club dates in the hood. (says JSNGRY) That's why I'll continue to listen to his music, but almost certainly not have the need to read the book in question. As for being "accurate", I doubt you'd respect or attend a physician who didn't have his / her facts straight. Apples & oranges but probably appropriate.
  16. FWIW, I have this box & am glad that I do.
  17. This is a very poor post coming from you Ms. Mobley. Not very witty (or pithy) at all. You should post more to get your touch back. I actually liked Moms post.
  18. Blazing Saddles
  19. Jo Nesbo: The Snowman
  20. I don't have a problem with Harry Allen. There's a new duo album with Ehud Asherie that's nice.
