    It's my birthday in less than 2 weeks. Someone bought the Paul Dunmall 49CD - 1 DVD set for me. #98 of 100, signed, book, etc. I'll start listening tomorrow.

    I'm way late to this party. I was amused when someone earlier in the thread lamented about his 42 year old ears. Mine are about 30 years older than that. So - I just try to enjoy the music everyday. Don't buy anything for sonic upgrades. Make do with my very middle class system.

    And the beat goes on & on & on. FWIW (probably very little), I saw / heard Ben Goldberg play some kind of gigantic clarinet last night. Don't know what that means, but thought I'd add to the "thread count".
