Are there any recommended Thurman Barker recordings? I saw him a couple of years ago at an AACM concert in New York and he was at least near-wonderful, but I don't have any of his recordings. He's the drummer / percussionist on Anthony Braxton: Performance Quartet (1979) on Hat.

7 Black Butterflies is just fine. I haven't heard the other one (yet).

Since Gagne went on the DL, the Brewers have been playing well. Now up to 30 - 28. Still way behind the Cubs, but it's been a nice stretch.
