    Some of you sound like you're being coerced into listening to certain artists. If you don't like 'em, ignore 'em. I like & listen to whoever sounds good to me. Stanley Crouch never forced me to buy a CD.

    Same in Santa Fe. I took my 40% off coupon & a list of 15 jazz CDs. They didn't have a single one.

    I noticed last week in my Borders store that they had just done a big reorgnization of the CD area and that the jazz section now takes up about half the space it used to. Looks like the beginning of the end. Same here in Santa Fe.

    Don't hold your breath. Some will come out sooner than others. The Long March has been announced as far back as 2004 (with a different catalogue number).

    FWIW, Marsh isn't on this one. Katzman is the main attraction, although Jimmy Rowles is just fine on piano.
