I just picked up a Clarence Profit lp yesterday. I really like his playing, and it was a shame he died so young. We would probably be talking about him like we do Bud Powell or Art Tatum.

The store in downtown DC (near the White House) has a 30% red sticker sale on cds and dvds. I picked up a few Verve Originals, RVG Fantasy cds and some Fania remasters. Has anyone else noticed a red tag sale at their store?
I'm looking to confirm that George Duvivier is playing bass on this session with Clark Terry. I have a friend who is a bass fanatic who insists that it isn't Duvivier, but someone else. Thanks in advance!
I'm not doing these auctions anymore; I have other things to pursue in my life.

Good lord, I've lost track of how many Sun Ras I have. In a trade some years ago, I received 70 lp transfers of OOP Sun Ra dates. Now that Art Yard and Atavistic have reissued some, I have picked those up as well. I am nuts!
Bump!
There were 2 4 cds sets that the Andorrans put together -- probably taken from the Chronological Classics or other sources, but they are all in one place. I think they were divided into Complete Small Group European Sessions and American Sessions from 1946 to 51. Worth the search.
