Is that ALL the master and alternate takes or is there something extra left off? Is this just the studio material or live as well?

Booker Little 4 & Max Roach

Apology accepted. Strangely enough the discographical data on this set is pretty scarce on the web. It covers 41-47, *leader* dates by Lester Young, Dinah Washington, Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Cozy Cole, the Kansas City Seven, Charlie Shavers with Earl Hines, Benny Morton, Rex Stewart, the Keynoters, Pete Brown, Red Norvo, bassist Billy Taylor, Jonah Jones, George Wettling, Chubby Jackson, Barney Bigard, Bill Harris, Willie Smith, Corky Corcoran, Milt Hinton, J.C. Heard, Irving Fazola, Bud Freeman, Ted Nash, Babe Russin, Manny Klein, Herbie Haymer, Clyde Hurley, Arnold Ross, Juan Tizol, Benny Carter, Marie Bryant, Bernie Leighton, Ann Hathaway, Joe Thomas, George Barnes, Lennie Tristano, Danny Hurd, Dave Lambert and Buddy Stewart, Gene Sedric, Neal Hefti and Red Rodney. Thanks all!!! ... FRANK: Welcome, new comers. The tradition of Festivus begins with the airing of grievances. I got a lot of problems with you people! And now you're gonna hear about it! You, Kruger. My son tells me your company stinks! GEORGE: Oh, God. FRANK: (To George) Quiet, you'll get yours in a minute. Kruger, you couldn't smooth a silk sheet if you had a hot date with a babe.. I lost my train of thought. (Frank sits down, Jerry gives a face that says "That's a shame". Gwen walks in) GWEN: Jerry! JERRY: Gwen! How'd you know I was here? GWEN: Kramer told me. KRAMER: Another Festivus miracle!

I'd stay way from the cd cleaning with tooth paste method. It contains abrasives. Especially the baking soda variety. There are places that will resurface scratched cds for you. Some used stores do it.

Miles 'Complete Plugged Nickel' @ Columbia House
Dmitry replied to street singer's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
Holy smokes. Those are some good prices. I'm not a member, can't see those boxes on their web-site. Are they still there? Are those sale prices available to new members ? -
thanks Dmitry..... what other preamps have you heard before coming to your conclusion? Is the bottom end nice and tight? My man, it's all that and more. EAR, GRADO,Monolithic PS-1[still have it. quite good for $350, but no match for the P5]. Of course the P10 is a reference phono stage and a bit more than your spending amt, but read up on the P5. It's a keeper.
-
Get a BAT VK-P5 or VK-P10...nothing's better.
-
How's the sound quality?
-
Ok music, cheesy cover. You can buy the original for maybe $2-3.

Spoke to a customer rep at the USPS. Did you know that USPS has toll-free customer service?! She thinks it went back West because it was sent media and went to a bulk mail processing center in NJ first. But why Illinois and not Brooklyn? I left her pondering. She said to check back with her tomorrow. Perhaps we'll have a donut or something...

P. Diddy finishes NYC Marathon, raises $2 million
Dmitry replied to BERIGAN's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
I don't care if Diddy needs publicity. He raised 2 mill for children. Something tells me that he probably spends well over 2 mill on charity per year, tax-related or not. The subject is nolo contendere..really. Bertrand, I accept that you're way more informed about P.Diddy's life than me, so I'll leave the implications to you. -
P. Diddy finishes NYC Marathon, raises $2 million
Dmitry replied to BERIGAN's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
I don't see what difference it makes to you or to any of us. Really. Guy raised 2 million bucks for children. ...You don't have to like Jerry Lewis to acknowledge his saintly role in helping kids with his telethons. Way to go, P. Diddy, whatever your name means. Now if only Rebecca De Mornay ran next year... I might just start training. -
You better check it our profusely and extensively[you should've done it before you signed the papers]. When the time comes to sell the property you might be in for a surprise. And who needs that, right?

...yet another joint isn't working right, but you're getting wiser. it's a coin toss[who am i kidding...it sucks] happy birthday !

Hard Ciders - a decent alternative to beer??
Dmitry replied to Rooster_Ties's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Why would anybody drink a cider instead of a beer?! That's just crazy.. -
It is Slavic, but it's not Russian. Perhaps Bulgarian or Serbian? In any case, welcome "back", Aftab!!!
-
Paranoia? Hardly... How else would I buy some of these oop gems, if not for the promos in used shops?! I don't mind if the cds themselves have the stickers, but why deface the covers? Anyway, what have you tried?

Where's jmjk and the rest of the prog gang? Hans is right - go for the digi-pack, if not - the jewel cased last edition. Sound's the same. I'm away from home now, but I believe Fripp did the remastering. Go to the Discipline Global site for more info.
